@GTV reviews the Cosmic Fantasy 1-2 Switch collection by Edia, provides examples of the poor English editing/localization work. It's much worse for CF1. Rated "D" for disappointment, finding that TurboGrafx CF2 is better & while CF1's the real draw, Edia screwed it up...

Get an Arcade Card Duo.  There's no need for a Super System Card, as it's built in to all Duos.

As for the scratches, you could try a magic eraser.  Just be careful - you're actually sanding stuff with those things.

Magic Eraser with a little water.  But, if the scratches are too deep, you will notice a difference as you remove the scuffs.  I doubt they are too deep though, it doesn't appear so anyway.

Quote from: Nulltard on 05/01/2014, 03:39 PMAgreed. Arcade Card Duo is the way to go... they pop up on eBay and Rakuten fairly often for pretty cheap if you keep your eyes open.  Or maybe someone here will hook you up.

If the magic eraser doesn't work, you could always paint it!  I can't find the picture, but someone once painted their Duo silver w/ a giant zonk on it.  Turned out reaaaallllly gooo.....bad.  Dammit, i can't lie.

it was bad.

don't paint it.
My duo-R is getting the cylon treatment.... it'll look badass, even found the led for it

I would say, just go with the one that pops up cheaper, which in most of the cases would be the AC DUO, but one never knows.

Being into RC car building and modeling, I can tell you that removing deep scratches can be a time consuming job using sanding papers from fine to super fine (2000 grit) with wet sanding at the end for the best finish.

Painting over the prepared surface will work well of you use a fine plastic primer and them acrylic spray paints. E.g. Tamiya fine white primer and Tamiya TS paints. Beware, it's easy to botch a paint job, so try it out on some scrap plastic first and read tutorials on the web.

But what matters most: Have some fun with your Duo playing games! :)

Micro abrasives for the win!  You can get a similar slightly less abrasive effect using wet baking soda as well.

Unfortunately not. I am not very good at it.
I haven't played it that much, only recently got a tv it works on (bang & olufsen mx4000) if you can get one of those, do yourself a favor and get it. Their awesome.

esteban

I don't think I ever saw a Bang & Olufsen television here in the states...of course, I'm thinking about large retailers and not small specialty shops.

I picked up 2 for free, one is 50hz only and the other is 50/60hz.
Only had to buy a remote. Cost me a bit over 30 bucks but well worth it.
