Wow that's actually a crazy good price for a Duo, and for a Duo and Valis 3 that's insane!!

If I didn't already have a PC Engine Duo this would be quite the tantalizing offer...

Eh, maybe if it had undergone full capacitor replacement and some kind of video mod (S-Video or our new YPbPr one)... I guess I'd have to research how much they've been selling this year, but for that much money, I think it should have had recapping and video modding of some kind. Hm, well, left out the Valis III inclusion, that'd be another thing, to see how much it's been selling lately.

I bought my US duo stock on ebay including shipping about 6 months ago for 225. Granted I spent about 3 months scouring auctions to get that price.

I agree. This sounds like a somewhat good deal, but it falls apart once you consider in all the shipping and repairs that you'll want to have done.

You're right. Seems to be trending around $60-65 on actual auctions. I just see so few auctions and so many BINs that I took it for granted. *DISCLAIMER* If i had any interest in buying CIC Valis III i'd've known better.

I will get it done. I have a buddy who can fix these types of things. However what I did not mention is that this unit was only played for about a year.... I had talks with the seller and he informed me that everything works and he is the only owner. That kind of helps knowing the history...

And I just dropped some serious cash on the TG16 CD with 3.0 card w/ plastic carrying box. I may have been taken for a ride on it a bit, but I'm so happy to I finally got my long awaited system.

No sir I did not. It ended up costing me $350 shipped. I'm ok with that seeing as how it is in full working order. Does not mean that I will not open it to check out the caps to be safe though. With the games it seemed to be a fair shake at least to me any ways.

How much was wmac trying to sell his sealed Ys Book I & II ?? Or was Ys IV the sealed one ? Yeah, I guess the deal really did put you over the top, as far as dealing with eBay when it comes to NEC products.
