kss-221A laser pickup for PC Engine cdrom

Hi,

  For pc engine cdrom ( briefcase model ), I do know the laser pickup can be KSS-162A or KSS-220A.  How about KSS-221A ? Can this cdrom use KSS-221A pickup?

By looking into the picture of kss-221a in more detail, found the four pins ribbon cable is different than kss-220a.
Kss-220a is linear but kss-221a is up and down like a stair shape. Not not if it still fit into Pc engine cd-rom case if I use eg, hot glue to bend/stick the cable a little bit
