With the Bomberman 3DS game cancelled a while back, we haven't seen a proper game from the series in a while, but fans of the series will have a little something to look forward to for the time being, as an official Bomberman game released for smartphone.

Ewwww, they got the Turbografx box-art Bomberman. That's like when Capcom put "Mega Man" in Street Fighter X Tekken.

I'm not surprised.  Konami didn't buy 'em just to bury everything, and I'm not surprised they're going after the low hanging fruit of cellphone games.

I would prefer a solo quest also.  I hope it's good, because it's not easy to find mobile games that are even moderately enjoyable, in my opinion.

I downloaded some lame Bomberman-themed puzzle game a few months ago for iPad (I see no reason why Konami wouldn't support iPhone and iPad).
