Pre-Order / Limited Edition feeds

How do you guys stay notified when a new limited edition comes out? I always find out to late and every one is sold out of their pre-orders. Majora's Mask is on that comes to mind recently. I know I want to pick up a Wii U when the new Zelda bundle comes out. Looking for a feed or a service that will shoot me an email or something when it's available for pre-order. Work blocks most gaming sites so something I don't have to check every day is a bonus!

I don't preorder anything and everything just because it's a Limited Edition. If it's something I really want (L.E. or otherwise), I'll sign up for updates from the developer; if that ain't an option, I'll just visit their site on a semi regular basis.

Facebook is pretty much it, there are people with more time than me that scour looking for things like this.

The Majora Game LE was insane to get ahold of though, I feel like it is 90% scalpers right now thought that bought them. I'd like a copy, but I'm not going to pay a premium for it just because Nintendo couldn't be arsed to make enough for demand.

Other stuff though, like NecroPhile said I just sign up for publisher newsletters. NISA and Iffy are quite good about giving a heads up for stuff I want.

A friend of mine asked me if he should get a PS1 style limited edition PS4 for purposes of reselling. I told him that most limited edition consoles don't sell for more. Anyway, then he saw shit like this and got super mad:

To which I wonder, who the hell is buying these things for over double what they sold for? It's just a gray PS4, who Cares!?

I can't remember if I ordered Lucretia, but chances are I haven't. I gotta put that on my budget for next month.
