Quote from: guest on 05/23/2007, 10:55 AMUh, yeah, C64 is so confusing in a thread about Castlevania.  Please spell everything out for me, 'cause I don't know how to read for context.  Don't use CV64 either, or everyone will think that you're referencing the U.S.S. Constellation.  :)
I thought someone had made a Castlevania game for the C64. :P You're all confusing me, freaks!

And is it so bloody hard to just say it all outright? I mean shit, Castlevania is not a long word. Furthermore, it's not even CALLED Castlevania 64!
Turbo Badass Rank: Janne (6 of 12 clears)
Conquered so far: Sinistron, Violent Soldier, Tatsujin, Super Raiden, Shape Shifter, Rayxanber II

nod, I wasn't kidding before - there IS a Castlevania game for Commodore 64! There's even an Amiga Castlevania game. Both are pretty bad ports of the NES game though.

You're right. It's JUST called "Castlevania". Saying that wouldn't be confusing at all. :D

Quote from: Seldane on 04/21/2007, 07:28 PMDVDs are for suckers. Illegally pirated and stolen videos all the way. No menus. No "DO NOT PIRATE THIS!" screens. No fuss. Only perfection. I honestly only pirate movies because that "don't pirate this" screen annoys me.

Indeed, it's AV time. Check out: IMG! Sir, the door was open.

Quote from: ParanoiaDragon on 05/24/2007, 02:02 AMNever heard of CV64 as a constellation, but, I know everytime I saw C64, for a second or 2 atleast, I first bring to mind, a computer, not a Castlevania game, which I usually see as CV.
Not as a constellation, but as the Constellation - as in aircraft carrier.

Screw it.  From now on, Castlevania for Nintendo 64 shall be referred to as "Akumajō Dracula Mokushiroku" or as "Castlevania for Nintendo 64".  This proclamation has been made law and will be strictly enforced.  Any transgressors will be given thirty lashes with a wet noodle or one hour of playtime with Night Trap (whichever is more painful).  So it is written, so shall it be - at least in my little cubedom.

Furthermore, there is no such thing as a C64 computer; there are, however, Commodore 64 computers.  :P
