Power Adaptor

Hey guys.

I recently bought a TurboGrafx 16, but it didn't come with the power cord. I've heard the Genesis 1 power cord will work. Is that true? Will any other power cords work? I just don't want to fry my system...haha.

Yep. A Genesis Model 1 power supply will do you just fine.

Whatever you do, do not use a NES power supply. It will fit, but it wont work and will usually damage your system. Stupid Nintendo and their 9v AC power supply....

Good to know! I was able to source a third party Genesis 1 power adaptor and it works great.

Maybe not likely you'd have one, but a Jaguar power supply does the trick as well.
