@GTV reviews the Cosmic Fantasy 1-2 Switch collection by Edia, provides examples of the poor English editing/localization work. It's much worse for CF1. Rated "D" for disappointment, finding that TurboGrafx CF2 is better & while CF1's the real draw, Edia screwed it up...

Congrats nectaris!

Guys, I am still in shock from me recent winnings of the Duo from Sparks, and I would like to extend my thanks and appreciation by holding my own raffle.  While not turbo related, these things are a lot of fun.

I will be building a PS2 with internal HD that boots up with Free McBoot.  Games installed will be of the winners choice, I have most of them.  With this, you can play imports, translations such as Dragon Quest V, and so much more.  I will include a few apps, and give a quick tutorial on how/what to do with them.  PS2 games are normally a few gig each, so the size of the HD will be the limit on what games I can include.  Basically, when I build it, I will need a list of games...in priority. 

Now, the rules.... 

You must have contributed somehow to these forums, in some shape or form.
You must not be in bad standing, or just a dick to other members.
You must have been a member for at least a few years... This rule is one I will be a little lenient with.

So, with that...  lets roll.  Hopefully there will be some interest....I know this is a turbo dedicated forum.  :)

Nice!  I could use this just on the basis that I actually have several imports (including the aforementioned Dragon Quest V), but I gave my Japanese PS2 to a really good friend several years back, so it'd be awesome to have something import capable.

I'd love to have it, but I can't justify denying it from going to a home where it'll get frequent use since I'm far too slow at dealing with my backlog of games, so good luck to the winner!

I already have a ps2 with freeMCboot but I too don't know how to play translations. I think their is a Berserk game translation that I'd like to try. Anyways great raffle.

I own some genuine PS2 imports, AM2 Macross, Rimo Cocoron, Dog of Bay, Super Galadelic Hour, Sega Ages Gunstar Heroes Collection and some other cool weird games I can't play anymore because my fat PS2 with modchip is broken.  I got a new slim PS2 at one point but it isn't chipped... Has FreeMCBoot been updated so you can launch discs from different regions yet?  That's all I really want without the trouble of having to install a mod into my slim PS2.  I'd really love to load up the best Macross video game ever made again one day.

Dang, Bernie! That's one hell of a raffle! Don't add me as my PS2 already has a hard drive installed, though I use HD Advance to access it. I think my hard drive is an old 40gb so it doesn't hold that many games, but it's pretty much all games I still own.  They load so much faster off a hard drive!

Does free mcboot allow you to transfer PS1 games to the hard drive? I think I use my PS2 to play PS1 games more than for PS2 games. :)
