Japanese super cd 3.0 hu card

So I ended up getting some super cd games and not realizing that I needed a different card for my USA original turbo Grafx that I bought at toys r us.
So I went on eBay and bought one from Japan. Question is will it work straight up or do I have to install a obey mod etc?

You need either a converter or a mod to load Japanese Hucards with your US Turbob.

Yes, the obey chip will make the card work.

If you didn't have one already it was a good choice. With the everdrive you can play all the games on PCE and Turbo and simulate some of the system cards.

It's great. I was missing some of my games. Not sure what happened to them. Then I had to fix the cd bad gear. Download all the Roms and CDs and now I'm able to play my favorite system
