Your biggest Childhood toy disappointment

I remember the echo mic. I never had one myself, but I remember how shitty/stupid they were. There didn't seem to be any purpose to it.

I received a small lego kit one time. I opened the box while riding in the back seat of my parents car. There was a short string with my lego pieces. However, I wasn't sure if it was part of the kit or just some random string from the unknown. After assembling the small structure, I realized that the string was from the lego kit and actually completed the scene, but I had already thrown it away. Now, I can't throw anything away for fear of it being useful in the future.
