Localization Legend "Supper the Subtitler" has "joined the club" in being targeted for CD-pressings by bootleg master Tobias/PCEWorks! His projects like Private Eyedol, Galaxy Fräulein Yuna 1 & 2, etc. are now being sold on Chinese factory-pressed CDROMs...

Minus what ever kickstarter kept for its share that's still a lot of money. Probably.

Oddly the kickstarter for the DVD/film raised $40,286 competed on Feb 2015.

So wait. They raised nearly $17,000 to buy the guy his collection and film.
So they got a bunch of people to pay for an almost entire Nintendo NES library

WTF, did I get that right?

That's my interpretation.

Granted in the documentary it was stated that he was to use his own money. I find it hard to believe that the mk why funded from the two kickstarter didn't go directly into the purchase of the games and guest speakers.

I have an urge to watch this stupidity for a few minutes.

But I know I won't.

That's fucked, but w/e I guess. If that's what people wanted to pay for..

It's just a bunch of manchilds wearing XXL Zelda shirts stuck in their past, the phycology here is kind of sad to be honest. I'de watch the first 5 mins, sets the tone quite well for the rest of the movie without having to watch another minute of it

I assume there is a thread about this on Nintendoage?  What to thos guys over there think about the film?

Also, what % does Kickstarter keep of the 16K?

CrackTiger

Looks like they were most concerned by how it wasn't collectardy enough:

Justin the Not-So-Cheery Black/Hack/CrackTiger helped Joshua Jackass, Andrew/Arkhan Dildovich and the DildoPhiles destroy 2 PC Engine groups: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook, then the other by Aaron Nanto!!! Him and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together! Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner, never himself nor his deranged/destructive/doxxing toxic turbo troll gang which he covers up for under the "community" euphemism!

I generally stay away from the whole 'collector' side of the forum because, you know, I'm not one, and I'd never been to Nintendo age before, until now of course, and well, let's just say that now I completely understand why you guys rag on them so much >w>

Medic_wheat

Three or four post in and they are botching about if a game should or should not be included to make the "quest" more official.

I actually want to read more just to laugh at it.
