@GTV reviews the Cosmic Fantasy 1-2 Switch collection by Edia, provides examples of the poor English editing/localization work. It's much worse for CF1. Rated "D" for disappointment, finding that TurboGrafx CF2 is better & while CF1's the real draw, Edia screwed it up...

Hello,
I'm having an issue with my CoreGrafx connected to the TV via Krikzz's EDFX; everything works normally with the standard connection. But have color problem with the EDFX. See picture.
- a capacitor issue on my CoreGrafx (and if so, which one)?
- Can be also the Megadrive 2 (pal) cable? I have to use an NTSC cable ?
No-one leave in Perpignan to test this ?

Thanks.

Hm, interesting, looks like you're not getting the blue color signal in the mix when using EDFX... You're just getting red and green for sure.

If you can check/test the RGB pins on the expansion bus with another means of connection (like a Turbo Booster), it'd rule out a broken solder joint for the blue signal pin, I guess. Maybe you got a bad EDFX...

But, as a general maintenance principle regarding capacitors, you should've already replaced every one. It's a good rule of thumb to prevent unpredictable failure. If this unit never had total capacitor replacement you should do it eventually, but I don't think it'll solve this RGB issue. It's likely a connection/contact issue.

Thanks for your answer (blue pin C23), it looks good to me exept maybe the transistor. I buy some extra Megadrive 2 cables to test [one with RCA (composite, audio left right) output : sure this one will work].
