Is it true that there are only 1500 PCE ang TG-16 Games?

 Both Japan and USA games add up to only 1500. This looks to small I think, corrent me if I'm wrong.

More than likely, that is the correct number (or in the general area), however adding the CD based games will easily bring that number to over 2,000 (don't remember how many CD games were released off-hand)
