New, Cheaper PS3 Slim coming in September $299

It is legit.  Hopefully it can finally bitstream DolbyTrueHD and DTSHDMA.

I heard about this just as sony cut it's price on the 80GB and 120GB model.

As for me it's too late heck i just bought me a used (60GB PS3) through a member at neo-geo.com 

Right now i'm just waiting for it to arrive in the mail

That's awesome.  It looks slightly less wide than the Duo.  Surprising.  I'd still rather play the Duo, though.
