WTB-Revenge of Shinobi Ver. 1.00 Complete

I am looking for a first run copy of Revenge of Shinobi complete w/ case and manual. For those that do not know the first run copies of ROS have Batman, and Godzilla. In later versions the sprites were redrawn due to licensing issues. They also contain Spider-Man but he remained in the game up until later revisions. Please shoot offers. Thanks.

I have always wanted this game, but my copy doesn't have spiderman or batman. How can you tell the difference?

I'm interested in this too. The version I played back in the day had them. I also found out today that Mystic Defender had the naked lady censored out of the ending so I'd like to know how to ID those as well.

Other than actually playing them I don't think there is anyway to tell.

to find out if you have the first run revenge of shinobi, you must play until level 3. if the flamethrower dudes look like rambo, you have the first version.

Not as easy is checking the label, but that's better than nothing!

You only need to see the title screen, as the first one doesn't have a copyright notice (it's on a separate screen with a copyright notice for Spiderman).

I played through most of the game on the copy I already have and Batman is more of a Bat Demon. Definitely not the first run.
