One of my faves from the old school... ah well, at least it wasn't because of a drug overdose or a heart attack from previous drug use... it was a car accident.

EDIT: Just found out that it was actually a heart attack while driving... but it was not drug or alcohol related.

I bet ole VKM will have him inducted into WWE's hall of fame next year for Wrestlemania.

His last match was actually years ago in TNA too.....er was that in Spiderman?

SlimJims will make the poo fly out of your ass nonstop for days. Be careful on how many you eat! I ate 5 or 6 in a sitting once. The rest of my sitting was on the toilet. Might be great for losing weight, though. ;)

One of my favorites when the wwf was the wwe beside his run on wcw.Though i won't be surpise if the cuase of his death was use of steroids.

Cause of death was severe trauma due to the car accident, which was caused by a heart attack that caused him to lose control of his car and crash into a tree. Cause of the heart attack will likely be revealed during the autopsy... though I doubt it will be steroids. The guy was pretty clean.

But anyway, that Mr. Warrior's Tribute video was interesting. He was more articulate than I would've expected, too. Looks like they were very good buds in real life, he was having to hold back his emotions.

Most of them were born in the 1960's and 1950's.

I took those deaths from the list of WWE Wrestlers list. That was Chris Benoit, the Candian Crippler, AKA the Good Guy. He strangled his wife, and smothered his son with a pillow, and finally hung himself in his weight room.

Ah yes, that'd be Owen Hart (who turned bad guy against his bro, Bret "The Hitman" Hart), so I do still remember a thing or two about ~~WWF~~ WWE (wouldn't wanna piss off the World Wildlife Fund and cause another lawsuit). It was a phase I grew out of, but it was entertaining as a kid.

As an aside, I'd highly recommend that Mickey Rourke movie, "The Wrestler" - DAMN GOOD drama and it was interesting how it was shot in documentary-style which made me think it was going to be shitty at first, but 20-30 minutes into it, I thought it was perfect; it gave it a certain edge! Definitely worth adding to your BluRay collection.

I agree, teh Warrior is definitely well spoken. A few years ago I watched his long interview with ringside collectibles on youtube. As someone who was really into wrestling as a kid in the late 80s and early 90s and a huge fan of the Warrior it was mind blowing to hear him give a detailed history of his wrestling career. He had a lot to say about a lot of people, much of it unflattering, but nothing negative to say about Randy Savage.

An interesting thing about Warrior is that he has butted heads with the WWE over the issue of the property rights of the wrestling talent to own the characters that they create and/or portray.

I know who it was. And I won't believe it until there's enough evidence to prove it. But since there never will be such evidence, it's an untrustworthy assumption that I won't put any belief into.
