I have to say here that I really like the idea of this shirt.

I don't like that the print is so fucking huge though. Its too "fat comic book dork" and wearing that much ink on the front of the shirt is going to feel like a sign around your neck. Also, as the shirt shrinks the ink will cause the front to "bowl out" for...the opposite of a flattering fit (gut maximizer).

More importantly I don't go for mixing the logos. US and EU only "Super" with international "Neo", Euro only "Mega" and US only "Turbo". Its too...internet age flea market, or something.

Yeah, I don't like this one either.

I'm actually really narked off with Meatbun. They had one of the best shirts ever with the Fight Night shirt, and they even appeared on the Capcom store (no shipping to UK) so they must have been offically sanctioned in some way. Well, they're not producing them any more, the designs have gone downhill, and they refuse to respond to any communication about whether they ship to the UK, or whether they plan to reprint. If my money's not good enough for them, there's little I can do.

But that Fight Night shirt, along with the Mike Haggar election shirt which capcom only made in XL (fucking mongs) are among the best shirt designs I've ever seen, and getting either [in my size] has proven impossible.

I don't like the shirt because it's another example of these idiosyncratic consoles being lumped into a homogenized "retro" group. It offends me the same way sailors get pissed when someone calls a ship a boat. Or like out-state Minnesotans talking about "The Cities" - NO, it's Minneapolis and Saint Paul and they're two completely different things. Likewise, these consoles are completely different. Even today, I'm not much of a SNES or Genesis gamer. My SNES library is mostly games that I'd rather play on the Turbo: Super Bonks, Adventure Islands, Bombermans, S Chase HQ, R-type III, Ys IV + V, Darius Twin, Wizardry V, etc.

For someone to stumble across the 16-bit consoles in 2012 and nonchalantly proclaim loyalty for ALL FOUR is downright apathetic, retro bandwagon poser bullshit. It's like rooting for both teams at a ball game; kinda defeats the point of being a fan. To be any less discriminating, one would have to drink milk and orange juice at the same time.
(new shirt idea: "MILK! JUICE! COFFEE! BEER!")I've only touched a third of the PCE library and my paltry 200+ games are enough to occupy the rest of my life. How could someone pretend to be a fan of the PCE and three other systems?
