@GTV reviews the Cosmic Fantasy 1-2 Switch collection by Edia, provides examples of the poor English editing/localization work. It's much worse for CF1. Rated "D" for disappointment, finding that TurboGrafx CF2 is better & while CF1's the real draw, Edia screwed it up...

A copy of Quake III Arena fell into my lap & I'm wanting to experience the game properly...along with the copy of Half-Life I'm gonna burn for it.  I'm curious, how much does that hardware run for these days?

DC accessories are still pretty cheap and common, thankfully. You can get a new Innovation/used Sega keyboard for around $20 shipped and a mouse for around $10-15 shipped. Some options:

Bundle option with other stuff, could end up being a good deal if you want the other items:

If you are still interested, I have a Dreamcast Mouse floating around somewhere. You don't have to get a dedicated DC keyboard, though. You can also get a Total Control adapter of the proper variety and use any PC PS2 keyboard.

I'm somewhat a collectard when it comes to hardware, so I like having proprietary peripherals (unless there's a third-party accessory that's reeeeally cool).  I'm about to PM you about the mouse, though. :)

If you do get a keyboard make sure you hunt down a copy of Typing of the Dead. Trust me!
