@GTV reviews the Cosmic Fantasy 1-2 Switch collection by Edia, provides examples of the poor English editing/localization work. It's much worse for CF1. Rated "D" for disappointment, finding that TurboGrafx CF2 is better & while CF1's the real draw, Edia screwed it up...

Does anyone know a place that sells box protectors for the Duo RX or some other console that's of similar size?

Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner, never himself nor his deranged/destructive/doxxing toxic turbo troll gang which he covers up for under the "community" euphemism!

Wow they are cheaper than I expected, thanks!

Sorry, had to say that made me laugh...just couldn't help it.

Condoms also stretch quite a bit, but get the lubricated ones or it might not want to come back off the console should you actually want to PLAY it.
END OF LINE.

The console is out and connected, I wanted something to protect the box unless you guys are suggesting its not worth saving. Why you guys going all troll mode?

Arkhan Asylum

Saran Wrap.

We're going troll mode because they don't make things to protect boxes, since boxes were made to protect the contents.

You're essentially asking for a box for a box.

That's nonsense everywhere except Video Game Collector Land.   The place where people will pay 200$ more for something because the box has one less crinkle on it than the one next to it.

Just wrap it in Saran Wrap for like 2$, and there you go.  Protected.

This "max-level forum psycho" () destroyed TWO PC Engine groups in rage: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook "Because Chris 'Shadowland' Runyon!," then the other by Aaron Nanto "Because Le NightWolve!" Him and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together... Both times he blamed the Aarons in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner, never himself nor his deranged, destructive, toxic turbo troll gang!

Your Complimentary Non Troll Post:

If you honestly care, they do make such protects to protect shelf ware / protect displays:

http://www.storefixtureshop.com/acrylic-risers-cubes-s/166.htm - 1 of many stores

You can also have them manufactured from places such as

https://www.akrylix.com/display-boxes/ or acrylicdisplaystore.com

If you want my two cents though:
I'd have to ask this - do you want to spend as much for a case to keep your box from maybe being dinged as another game or 6?  Is that important your game room looks like a Museum?  I mean just store it in a tote or something if your worried.
NW: Hey, I made it on this psycho's Enemies' List, how about that ?? ;)
BT: Look at how the fake SFII' carts instantly sold out and were immediately listed on eBay before the flippers even took possession. Look at Nintendo's overpriced bricks. Look at the typical forum discussions elsewhere. You can't tell most retro gamers anything!

Glass cabinets are better than a bunch fugly odd shaped plastic casings around boxes that you have to place somewhere anyway.

Acyclic was past what I was thinking,  just along the lines of the standard clear plastic box protectors. It's not about displaying it, its about keeping an uncommon item from getting accidentally destroyed by accidents, cats, kids etc. We actually had a roof leak about 2 months ago right on my shelf of turbo and ps1 games. And while some of those things are gonna happen regardless it doesn't mean I can't take precautions like a condom :).  I understand in the age of what has been labeled "shelf collector" that coming in here with a low post count and seemingly wanting to slab my stuff isn't going to be taken well. My first posts were actually on repairing a tg16 and my upcoming posts on repairing a turboexpress. I want the items we enjoy to be around longer so that were not stuck with emulation and photos

I hear you—you just were an easy target :)

Ziploc sells a huge bag that is rugged, waterproof, and can easily hold a DUO box. I have a bunch of boxes in these friggin' huge Ziploc bags. Smaller boxes are in plastic tubs (clear 40-60 gallon clear).

The simplest solutions are the most durable and cost-effective. I throw a whole bunch of dessicants (those packets that absorb humidity) in everything because NJ is often humid.

I rotate the stuff I have on "display" (a little corner desk + wall) every few weeks. It's fun to see new things out.

The problem with a lot of light duty solutions is they can be made of materials which will damage paper/cardboard.

Your best bet would be to find a large roll of clear plastic, which doesn't contain anything harmful, just wrap your boxes in that and find a place to put them where sunlight won't touch them.
