TG16 Super System Card 3.0 - $160 Shipped

Overall in pretty nice shape.  There is some yellowing on the case and the manual has a little smudge on the back (seen in the picture).  Also, this must've come from the house of a smoker, since there is a smoke scent to the card.  Tested and works.

Gate of Thunder - $40 Shipped

In pretty nice shape, comes with all 3 manuals which have minimal creasing.  Again, there is some yellowing on the case and the game has a smokey odor to it.  Tested and worked with the 3.0 system card.

I didnt think his pricing was too far off... ebay sys 3.0 now seems to be bumping the $200+ level   Dont know about gate of thunder, but its worth every penny even if it was $100z

You guys have been in the business of hunting retro games and peripherals a lot longer than me.  TheClash603's price was the lowest price I have ever seen for the System Card.  He tossed in Gate of Thunder for an additional $15 which is an excellent price to me.  

My "Damn that's a good deal" comment spawns from me only collecting for 2-3 months and never seeing prices this low even if the card was yellowed.

If anyone has a Super System 3.0 card they want to sell for $100 I would like to buy it.

It's not that I'm blaming the seller specifically, it's more insane people pay so much for this when there are much cheaper options available to play Super CD games on a Turbo.

I don't think it's cool comment on a seller's prices in their thread, but since it's already sold, I'll say that I bought my System 3.0 card complete on eBay for around $80 just over a year ago, during the long period in which people have talked about it never selling for less than $200. I've also seen a couple complete copies sell on eBay for around $100 since then.

$40 is a great deal for the 4-in-1 as far as bang for your buck, regardless of what it may or may not usually sell for.

I thought the price was high but then again I've never really paid attention on what the Super System Card sells for online. I got mine thru the mail with Gate of thunder for $95 back in the day.

I don't think his prices here are high at all, I just think TG-16 System Cards in generally are horrifically overpriced. On a good day you can buy a lot of 20 JP HuCards on eBay for $100 and there will be one or two System or Super System cards in there. The things are basically free.

The price on the 4in1 is fine. Japanese GoT is not cheap and it's the only way to get the cool as hell Bonk intro. That CD is probably the single best piece of NEC software ever made, so while $40 might be a tad high, I wouldn't feel bad about it.

The only drawback, if you can get it to work on a US system with an adapter, is when you press select on the load screen to get to the Backup Ram menu, you'll get the 3 menu items in Japanese for Delete, Format and End.

Yeah, that's one of the cheaper options I was thinking about. I do understand the desire to have the original things, I am just so shocked by the high price this goes for that I personally choose one of the cheaper options (no offense, Sads!). Then again, I eventually want to get another PC-FX system. That isn't exactly a cost effective system to get, either!

Typically my rule of thumb for a forum sale is to go on ebay and check completed auction prices and then sell for a substantial discount off of what I saw the completed auctions at.  I understand that some may argue "today's prices," but I definitely try to sell at the lowest end of the price spectrum.  Typically I sell for 25%+ cheaper than the lowest priced sold item (not unsold BIN) that I see elsewhere.

Who wants a free loose Hit the Ice hu-card?  First person to respond to this thread with a picture of a girl with big jugs can have it.  That seems like a fair trade, because I like jugs and I gotta protect my thread rep.

bnuddy, that's not how eBay/the internet works. eBay currently has zero sold in its history. Those two aren't selling. If you base value solely on asking prices, then you will always overpay.

I do not think there is a way to tell, but since I work third shift and did not see it all at night, and in the morning it still was not there I assumed it was posted between 11am and 2pm and then sold.

Auction was posted June 23rd at 3:10PM and ended 18 hours ago.  If you look at the full item description at the time the seller revised the item, if there was no revision, that is the listing time.  It is early in the morning, but my not fully capable math skills lead me to believe the auction was up for an hour assuming all times I see are EST.

I've typically seen the US 3.0 card go for around $130-$150 on ebay. Also, the converters are expensive as well around $60-$100 depending on the rarity. So basically it's cheaper to get a JP 3.0 super system card and then to either region mod your system yourself, pay someone to do it, or use a chopsado.

I looked up the exchange rate when I still thought a GPD was still worth twice that of a US dollar, but 50 GPD comes out to $78 USD - The US dollar gained value or the GPD lost some in recent years - not as insane an exchange rate as it was, but still... Anyway, I guess their best bet is to get their TG-16 region modded. Or, what's the deal with chopsado? Does he still make them, how much ??
