12/23/2024: Localization News - Team Innocent

PC-FX Localization for Team Innocent is released, a pre-Christmas gift!! In a twist, it feels like the NEC PC-FX got more attention in 2024 than any other time I can remember! Caveat: The localizers consider the "v0.9" patch a BETA as it still faces technical hurdles to eventually subtitle the FMV scenes, but they consider it very much playable.

Man, that Atari 5200 box was huge.

Nice Apple //c pic on there. I used to be heavy into vintage Apple collecting (still am, to some degree). Anymore I just have an Apple //c+ and a //gs, the two best models by far.

And no, they certainly don't make them like they used to.

Jawesome job once again Keranu. =D>

Thanks for putting up so many quality pictures. It makes it feel like actually being there.

QuoteIs that Phil Hartman and Bill Cosby in those pamphlets?
I'm pretty sure that was William Shatner in that computer pamphlet, although Phil Hartman did do at least one Intellivision(?) commercial.
Justin the Not-So-Cheery Black/Hack/CrackTiger helped Joshua Jackass, Andrew/Arkhan Dildovich and the DildoPhiles destroy 2 PC Engine groups: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook, then the other by Aaron Nanto!!! Him and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together! Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner, never himself nor his deranged/destructive/doxxing toxic turbo troll gang which he covers up for under the "community" euphemism!

Hah!  Just noticed you got a shot of me playing the Express.   8)

I bet William Shatner could beat up Phil Hartman if they got into a fight with each other tomorrow afternoon at 1:36PM.

Thanks for the comments. I had my brother take all the pictures this year, so he actually went and took a picture of practically each item in the museum area, while I usually just take a shot of each hallway to show them all off at once. He took some videos too, but I'm not sure if they're worth uploading.

Looks like you're right! Here's the high res version. I know what Phil Hartman commercial you are talking about and it's the first thing I thought of when I saw those pamphlets!

Yep! Noticed that while I was browsing through my pictures. I think you were playing Keith Courage.

All while Bill Cosby is standing in the background cracking jokes. 8)

Nicely done, Keranu.  Thanks for sharing, but please don't go around licking 2600s.  :)

Nah, I was playing Devil's Crush... I really wanted an Express after that, but I will resist temptation.

Nice pics, Keranu!

The Odyssey2 add-on in the photo is "The Voice," the O2 voice module. Check it out:
Also, what was up with that Donkey Kong machine in the competition room? It was some sorta hacked version with all different screens. I never really got the story on that.

I was wondering that myself. I think during Walter Day's speech, he was saying how that was some homemade game called Donkey Kong 2.

Indeed.  I wanted to try it out, but the monitor was having issues as the time.  Only red stuff was showing up, so it was unplayable.  I did get to see some other people playing it when it worked, and it looked pretty interesting.

Keranu

I played a little, I couldn't figure out how to keep jumping on those convery platforms.

Yup, that's it.

Hobo Xiphas

I really hate to pimp Lazer Dorks, but DHG Hunter (the guy who runs the museum room) posted a really cool companion piece to Keranu's article on our crappy little forums.

It talks about the past, present, and future of MGC from a behind the scenes perspective.

Keranu

Hey maybe DHG Hunter should give a speech at the MGC about the MGC's past, present, and future 8) .

Well this is second year i have gone to the show and as always a great time and this year the Vendor room was awesome!

They had moved the show to earlier in the year and i think there was some worry about how many would show up this year but i think it went more than fine.

I plan on going next year and i might talk my wife into going but am not going to hold my breath on that one.
