No, NOT a trick, a Halloween treat! Presenting the Dead of the Brain 1 English patch by David Shadoff for the DEAD last official PC Engine CD game published by NEC before exiting the console biz in 1999! anyone? I already have a case and manual [and a non-working game :( ] Just looking to replace the HuCard with a working one.

Not that you haven't already done this, but I would make sure that the HuCard is truly busted. Are there any visible damage to the HuCard? The PCB is contained in the small, black rectangular portion by the metal contacts.

I don't have a spare copy of TaleSpin, unfortunately. Sorry. But, I'm hoping that you'll be able to resuscitate (sp?) your game.
