Have a few more games that I will be parting with. Have secured better copies. Two of them are sealed, one is CIB and the other is CIC. I am only looking to get out of them what I have spent on them. If you do not wish to gift payment then please add the 4%+shipping. I will describe them strictly as always. The grades will very well likely be lower than they actually are.

$600? Holy shit man! Better off getting the pc engine version complete w/spine for $90+. That's crazy you spent $600 on that game that your trying to recoup now.

In fact not. I am taking a loss on this one. I paid $720 for this copy from a member on this very forum. So I guess if I was to offer my dynastic hero at a price of $800 that would be high too? I bought that from another forum member here for more as well.

So that I understand it right offering games at a loss after paying even more from members here is asking e-bay prices? It was my understanding that the right thing to do was offer to members here before going to e-bay? The market moves around and that is something I have no control over. I have only tried to get back most of what I paid for things. There are times when it seems like a deal is to be had, then the market changes and now you are asking to much.

If the price you are asking is similar to what they sell for on ebay, then you're asking ebay prices. How is that confusing?

If I buy something on here for $100 and try to resell it later for $80, it doesn't matter that I'm losing money on the deal when comparing prices to ebay; either I'm asking as much as ebay sellers or I'm not.

At the time I bought them, they were selling for a fair amount more. At that point I did not think that I was paying that much. However, I guess insulting people for paying what others think is too much is a better way to do things.

And i wasnt even being insulting. I have over paid for things, most of us have. It happens (as you know).
And feeling like 600 was "a deal" at the time, i can only assume its because you are comparing that amount to artificially inflated ebay prices. So good job, score one for the gougers for fooling somebody. If you want to recoup 600 of the 700+ you bought it for, then take it to a site where that is expected.

Everyone has undoubtedly overpaid/got teh sting of the gouge before at some point, the shit sucks. I'm not taking sides because I'm probably a politician or a demon or something, who knows? In all seriousness, though, at least Mr. Madboom is trying to sell it here first before hitting up the evil place and in turn, potentially raising its value.

At the time I bought it for the $700+ price I thought it was somewhat less than e-bay was selling it for at that moment. So I am assuming that you feel members here are gouging prices based upon what you are saying? By the way when you call someone dumb, that is an insult. No? I don't go around getting on people for paying too much. It happens, not much can be done about it. You learn as you go. The price might be too high in you opinion and that is fine. I did not come here trying to get what I paid. I asked for less. If no one wants in then that's ok too.

Very smart at least! A good idea to put sold and close the thread. Just throw it on ebay or something. I mean there's another one listed for buy it now for $600 currently so maybe wait for that one to sell then list yours.

What I find disheartening is a member on here took advantage of a fairly new member and soaked him for that price. if it was a long term member I find it even more so.

Let me clear this up for everyone. I asked what I did and took a loss on it. Items are are all sold and yes I did buy several games from long term members on here and it appears that I got soaked. That's ok live and learn. Does not mean that I have not tried to help others on this forum. I have have held raffles, sold items for a lot less then e-bay prices. I have also taken a loss on many games just so they would not end up on e-bay. However I guess that it does not count for much on here. Interesting on when I help others there is little to say but when I list a pricey game at a loss to me I get ridiculed for it. It's little wonder why people do not offer their games here for fear of retaliation. For all you new members who feel the need to post negative comments on my thread, remember what goes around comes around. For the older members to do it, so be it I have accepted the click fact.
