I have no interest in connecting with people whose gaming interests begin and end with buying and selling, unboxing videos, and posting photos of their game rooms.  If they don't want to actually play the games (beyond checking to make sure their newest acquisition works) and talk about 'em in depth, they can fuck off and bore people elsewhere.

We are. This is a PCE/PC-FX game enthusiast community. Collectardism is not niche at all and makes up most of retro game interest. The two are polar opposites, but if you're not interested in discussing non-collecting game related topics, you still have most of the rest of the internet. You can still enjoy hardcore market talk elsewhere and PCE/PC-FX/game discussion here, but you shouldn't be surprised that people in one area aren't super enthusiastic about the other.

It's also counter productive to ask what to pay for a game while expressing your interest in being able to flip it.

Whatever it is going for it's still far to much man, This community is so sick of hearing about its worth or its so called market value we take massive hot mess shits on threads like this as you can see. Just get a repro and save yourself the trouble and embarrassment of paying to much. hugs

My advice - buy a repro, or an everdrive.  Play the game everyday, preferably for several months.  If you absolutely fall in love with the game, and only an original will do, then by all means buy it and cherish it.  Very few games have EVER met that category for me.  Dont buy it as an investment. Dont buy it as a flip.  Buy it because it is a game you love to play.
