Super CD-Rom help needed

Hello forum,
I was disassembling the SCD and I am having trouble disconnecting the laser mechanism from the board.  Do I pull? Pinch the sides and pull? Pray to the PC Engine Gods? I looked around for videos on disassembling but no luck.  Also how do you release the magnet on the lid? Thanks for your help in advance.

The Black plastic pieces pull out. They are a pressure fit type of thing. So yes just pull.
