Yes, I've seen dozens of various S-VHS models - mostly JVC and Sony, if memory serves; I have not seen any D-VHS decks in the flesh.

the sleer doesn't really say much other than it's a "sample" disc and it was "unreleased." the sticker says"fire woman: matoi gumi. it's anybody's guess on what this really is.
