Thanks to all who participated. I'm disappointed SuperDeadite and neofan decided not to participate despite initially showing interest.

Congrats to incrediblehark on the score. The way I figure it, if you play the level perfectly your high score probably maxes out at around 320,000-325,000. I'm not sure much beyond that is possible unless there is a major bonus I'm not aware of.

Aaron, looks like it's time to brush up on your Zeroigar skills.

Yeah! I won!

nat I was thinking the same thing, you can't possibly score too much more than 320,000 if you play this perfect, meaning kill all enemies, use no weapon power, and not get hit once. I mean I played it close, beat the boss with 100% health and managed to score some extra points using my special weapon (whatever the fist weapon is uses the least) only when i absolutely needed it. And you could beat the boss with no special weapon but it would take too much time off the clock. I ended up with 11 seconds left in most of my runs through, once i got the hang of it.

I'd also really be interested in more score challenges / gaming contests in the future, it was a lot of fun!
