DLite, I wish I knew where you always get this stuff from. You must have quite the source.

Anyway, I know MC always fetches $250+ and Bonk 3 HuCard is almost always $100-$150+ and I'm afraid I just can't swing that right now...as much as I'd like to, and I hate to lowball you.

For a loose MC....

I'm looking around $600 for the Magical Chase. This is as pristine as you can get. Fresh-out-of-a-case fresh (no, there is no case of these in my living room!)

Although I personally don't pay collector's prices for nor seek out mint new items, $600 for a brand new U.S. Magical Chase is one hella of a great deal.

I agree that it seems to be the going rate, but whenever someone says that $600 for ONE video game is a "great deal", I consider telling that person to get psychological help.

It's one of the last HuCards and is just a manual and cardboard box.

These games are the last two release (supposedly) and have the clear plastic tray that holds the HuCard and manual.

Will probably go to eBay this coming weekend for the vultures.

HA! Yeah, I considered entering that little niche for about two seconds. Those are some hardcore people. (I'm talking to YOU D-Lite! ;))

Again, I understand the prices for games like Magical Chase, but I just hope our little community never gets to the point where we're happily plunking down thousands of dollars for titles.

Yeah but as I have mentioned before, with the Neo Geo community the games for that system were never cheap to begin with and worse yet its the same fighting game over and over again

Yes, I think I mentioned Magician Lord which is one of my favorite Neo Geo titles...also had some decent shooters and a couple of sports titles....some Kick and punch titles...and oh yeah THE SAME FIGHTING GAME OVER AND OVER AGAIN....

Maybe he just meant that each Neo
Geo fighting series was just the same game over and over.

As opposed to those non-neo fighting series which manage to stay fresh with each new outing.

The fighting games for Neo Geo do stay fresh in every new one that comes out. Compare KoF'94 to KoF'98 and you'll notice an incredible difference, an improvement might I add. Also each fighting game series for the Neo Geo are pretty damn different and original from each other, like Art of Fighting to Fatal Fury, World Heroes to KoF (not a good comparison, haha), and hell even Samurai Shodown to Last Blade show lots of difference. EXCELLENT console for fighting game fans and awesome for just classic or arcade gamers in general.

Anyone who can't tell the diferent between Virtua Fighter & DOA probably just looks at the Neo Geo as a bunch of the same fighting games.
