Game info:

Akumajo Dracula - Chi no Rondo
Year of release: 1993
Developed by: Konami
Published by: Konami
For Super CD-ROM² System

What would be a console without it's own Castlevania game? PC Engine got only 1 Castlevania and luckily the best game in the series. The Dracula X series is somewhat a small gaiden of the series, because DX mainly tells about Richter and Maria Belmont and the Sony Playstation version, Akumajo Dracula X - Gekka no Yasoukyoku continues straight (literally!) from Chi no Rondo. If you need to know more about the Dracula X series (or any other Castlevania game), see The Castlevania Dungeon.

Since everyone has played at least one Castlevania game, this game needs no explanation. Yet again, the graphics are marvelous and the soundtrack is awesome. The game plays like a dream, but is a bit too easy. This game is a must for every PC Engine lover out there.

Track info:

Track 1: Maria tells Richter not to play his CD in a CD player. ^__^
Track 2: Data, contains everything
Tracks 3-21: Audio
Track 22: Data, contains everything

Emulation info:

Works perfectly in every emu capable of playing from an ISO or straight from the CD. ^^
Real PCE / TG16: SHOULD work perfectly.

Data track info:

2 Data tracks and the second data track is slightly larger than the first, but both contais the same data. Dunno what's the meaning of this... Anyways, nothing is compressed, but an actual translations will be pretty hard: the in-game dialogue goes in the traditional japanese-way: from top to bottom, left to right. The game would need some serious hacking in order to get the dialogue go from right to left. A translated HCD has been released (but don't remember who created it... sorry!;_;) but it only translates the intro.. but the only place which holds the HCD seems to be down.... ;_;

CD-DA info:

Pre-defined sectors. Small adjustments needed.

Current progress: Finished!

This CUE file is from the now dead Dracula X copy project. I only made small revisions to the CUE file to make the CD-DA sync more perfectly.
