It may have been one of those games I had on my Everdrive and it wouldn't work because the 32X was attached and I just forgot about it and moved on. I have played the JP version in an emulator and while better than the US version, it's still a piece of crap compared to the Turbo CD version.Yes it is not on the list of games here that have lockouts http://www.whipassgaming.com/genesisreviews/genesisimportfaq.htm I was worried about the 50/60hz thing, but now I realize that is just PAL games. I know the turbo cd version is much better, I have that one as well.
Quote from: guyjin on 02/16/2012, 10:55 PMDoes the game work in your Genesis with the 32X removed? Some EA games don't play on some Genesises.I don't know, I've actually never used it without the 32x and I don't even have an av cable for it. It is one of the early model 1's that says high definition graphics on it. I know the game works because it works in my model 3.
Quote from: guest on 02/01/2012, 03:07 PMIt's an EA game. Sometimes the EA games have special crap in them that make attachments refuse to operate. See if other EA games with the tall dumb yellow tabs operate right.I tried James Pond 2, Normy's Beach Babe O Rama, Pga Tour Golf, and Road Rash 3. They all worked. Is there any way I can modify the cartridge so it will work? I know what I am missing... maybe I should just buy the Japanese version...
You aren't missing anything though. The game sucks on the Genesis.
Quote from: incrediblehark on 02/07/2012, 10:37 AMSorry if I haven;t read it yet, I'm about to go through my pms now. As for the marty, I got a drive belt yesterday that im going to install and see if i can get the floppy up and running again. Im not in any hurry to sell this one and would honestly rather trade it for some other gaming goodies. That's fine. Unfortunately the only gaming related goods I can part with are some broken Sega systems (Genesis, cd, master system) and a Pc Engine memory base 128. Any chance you are into archery? I have a nice compound bow I am looking to sell.
Quote from: guest on 02/07/2012, 09:51 AMNo... guess I missed that.Quote from: 77FordTruckMan on 02/07/2012, 12:41 AM... strangely my outbox is always empty even after sending a pm.Did you check the "Save a copy in my outbox" box in the lower left hand corner?
Quote from: Dark Fact on 12/22/2011, 11:20 AMI'm still not a fan of the PS3 though, aside from Little Big Planet. Now THAT is an awesome game! Not a ps3 exclusive, but have you played Skyrim?
Quote from: guest on 11/12/2011, 09:31 AMI have one of the original models, the guy selling it on Ebay said that some of them had power supplies that were prone to overheating, so he replaced those in the ones he was selling and put new thermal paste in etc. I have never had a problem in the 2 years or so I've had it and it's seen a lot of use. The only problem I've had is freezing and some lag on games like Skyrim and Fallout NV, but I'm pretty sure thats the games.Quote from: munchiaz on 11/12/2011, 02:15 AM^ i looked it up. its basically what plagued the xbox 360 with the red ring of death. ps3 version is called the yellow light of death. basically the heat sync stopped doing its job, so now there's an issue with the solder on the board. I would call sony and pay for a fix, but i have a Japanese ps3, so they won't touch it, they would want me to send it away to japan for repair. so I;m going to attempt to fix it myself tomorrow. Wish me luck guysSo do you have one of the original PS3 systems... the backwards compatible one? As my buddy had to retired his as the heat was doing a number on his board it seamed like every month. The newer ones are much more durable. So my buddy got a new slim one.. works great but when she heats up sometimes you hear the plastic "pop" expand on the case... there cookers!!!
Quote from: guest on 01/25/2012, 08:53 AMI bought like 15 of those 3 way ones for 1.20$ each from some dude in china.Wow, that sounds confusing...
Daisy Chains WHUT.
Quote from: munchiaz on 01/13/2012, 03:22 PM^got alot stuff there. I would suggest dusting, and getting a air purifier. I just set up my game room, and picked up a air purifier, and it really cuts back on the dust in the room.Yeah, I didn't realize how bad it was until I took these pictures, never thought about an air purifier, I will have to look into that.
Quote from: Sadler on 01/13/2012, 03:34 PMNice collection! Your cat seems thoroughly unimpressed by the TurboExpress. Thanks, yeah he will lay just about anywhere including on top of piles of games or whatever, I've had him for 14 years so he is used to it by now.
Quote from: guest on 01/13/2012, 05:18 PMSelectavision! For a while I kept seeing those locally on craigslist and thinking I should snag one - thankfully I got over it before pulling the trigger. I know I wouldn't have used it, but how do you like yours?I always wanted one and finally found one at the flea market for a good price with a bunch of discs. It isn't really that great for regular watching because the video quality is pretty bad and it is prone to skipping, but I like it just because it is so obscure and almost nobody I know has even heard of it. I do use it regularly though, I just like the thought of watching movies on records. As for the shelves, they do look about ready to collapse, but they are actually more sturdy than they look. I need to redo the entire setup entirely because I need more room but I am running out of ideas... I just need to get my own house, but first I have a truck, a car, and 2 motorcycles to finish restoring...
P.S. - Get some sturdier shelves STAT! Some of those guys look like they're only a good breeze and a few more days worth of dust collection away from collapse.
Quote from: thesteve on 01/08/2012, 05:30 PMthat looks like it should workMy only concern is that it does not have that little connector that plugs in on the board.
