Quote from: Tatsujin on 03/15/2013, 09:32 PMIf you don't mind a complete lvl 2 missing, as well missing of the bonus stage and all power ups, then this game would be very great for youPersonally I'm very proud to have this, despite a great number of the missing content that Tatsujin speaks of. Usually I would turn my nose up at arcade ports when they're very lacking but I don't know what the driving force is behind making this an exception.
Quote from: TR0N on 11/27/2012, 11:45 PMUltimately, I forgot my password and the email to get it back, but yeah, life did get in the way.Quote from: Ninja Spirit on 11/22/2012, 10:07 AMFuck....I know my Toneman account's been AWOL, forgot my password, and also avoiding several people, but damn.... this is almost like getting news of a relative dying, some of us had both started and watched the YouTube gaming community grow over the yearsI did wonder what happen to you're channel. While ago i did unsubscribe to you, because i thought you gave up or you were super busy.
Greatest Digi works that stick out in my mind:
> Played through both Sega Saturn Lunar I and II
> Beat PCE Image Fight (as much as that game nearly drove me to the insane asylum)
> Made the only longplay of PCE Salamander that's not emulated
> The Sunsetriders arcade demo
Quote from: Aggie Tsubi on 11/18/2012, 02:15 PMThis is really helpful; kudos to everyone involved in writing and/or finding these FAQs.You're just like I am. After I picked up F'uun Kabuki Den and damn near beating it (and accidently erasing just when I got to the final dungeon), I got much braver and started tackling the other ones that I had.
Most gamers I come across online feel that if an RPG is in Japanese and you don't know the language, there's no point in even bothering with it because, according to them, it would be impossible to have any fun with it. Personally, that's never been the case for me. Even though I know very, very little Japanese (basically I can read katakana when it's representing English, which helps a ton for video games, and I can recognize a handful of native words in hiragana and kanji), I've played through many text-heavy games in Japanese, including some of my very favorite games. I can't claim to understand the plot completely, but I don't feel completely in the dark either. There's a lot you can pick up outside of the text. Maybe the big difference between me and many other RPG players is that, despite that I really love the genre, I still place gameplay above story, unlike so many other RPG fans. I love a good battle system and exploring interesting dungeons, and I will gladly accept missing out on some story for the opportunity to enjoy that. So that's why I'm always really thankful for people who write walkthroughs for text-heavy Japanese games for people who don't know the language.

Quote from: geise on 12/09/2011, 08:38 AMThey probably don't know what it's worth and would want a shit ton. Haha or maybe they'll be like $200 and it's yours. Hmm...or it's rented from a company and you're shit out of luck.It was rented. A sticker and a phone number on it right?
Quote from: rag-time4 on 12/08/2011, 11:30 PMMost SaGa music, the way they were written, you'd think you were playing Final Fantasy. The game play looks and moves like FF almost too.Quote from: Opethian on 12/08/2011, 10:38 PMSaGa games have some of the best SNES tunes!Interesting, you are whetting my appetite ope! I remember renting SaGa frontier once for PS1 and struggling with it, but want to give the series another shot.

I actually found a copy of the normal Retro Gamer mag there too a week ago. My girlfriend bought both for me since she is so cool.
