Darius Alpha for $999. I didn't buy that today, much like yesterday. And the months before that I've had it on my watch list.

The extra $14 shipping cost is a nice touch.

I was thinking of pulling the trigger on this pair o' controllers, but decided that the price was too high and the $10 shipping sucked anus.

I wouldn't have given you 30 cheeseburgers for that, or even 10 fries, none of which were bought today by me.

I didn't buy a 100 pack of 720k floppies for $30. Great deal but the deal didn't include label stickers.

Jeez, I thought floppies would be even cheaper than that by now. I bought CD-Rs the other day and was pissed how the DVD-Rs next to it were practically the same price.

I thought so too, but low density floppies (360k and 720k disks) have risen in value since local stores don't sell them. There some sellers that will charge $1 per 720k disk, absolutely retarded.

QuoteI bought CD-Rs the other day and was pissed how the DVD-Rs next to it were practically the same price.
Isn't that a good thing? DVD-Rs used to be too expensive now they're as cheap as CD-Rs, you can get 50pks for ~$20. I bought a 100pk for $25 a month a ago, great deal.

Some of you may rememer my shoutbox rants about our renters. Well, they left a few interesting things at the old farmhouse - most of it garbage, but I found these 3 carts in the cellar, of all places.

IMG

They were extremely dirty, and still are dirtier than I'd like (they still just smell dirty) - I'll probably clean 'em once a day for the next couple of days before I dare put them in a console.

Turbo D

Looks like they left you gold! Well, what they lack in cash value they make up in fun! haha. Seriously though, those games are really fun. That Kirby game is a classic, why just the other day I was playing it on the psp while taking a shit. Ahh, good times, good times.  :)

So my wife and I recently went to the Japanese Tea Garden in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park.... in addition to acquiring a taste for Japanese Genmai tea, she took pictures of some Kokeshi dolls for sale. Her mom saw the dolls after the pictures were posted on facebook, so we started shopping around on ebay.

I found this set absolutely awesome, but somehow held back from bidding: completed item link

These don't have the cute styling we were looking for, but they are totally fascinating to me, particularly the color of the skin, waviness of the hair, and facial features, including the full lips and broad noses: link 2
