Wow! I really like the look of that one. A lot of your video clips have helped me decide which games to buy or now buy. Along with your rating system, that says Try It, Avoid IT, or Buy It. Nice way of displaying everything, and helping others determine what games are worth it. Keep em coming. Ya cause me to spend my money, but I love em!! lol

SD2 also has some great music, making it even more worthwhile.

I used to use a 5 star rating, but it's impossible to be consistent with that, plus people's opinion of what 3/5 means, for example, may differ considerably.

It's a pity I can't scan the whole thing, but it's big and so tightly bound that I wouldn't be able to get a good scan of the pages.

Digital cameras can work wonders with bound books, though it can eat up an awful lot of time tweaking all the images.

I'd like to ask, Paul, if you would apreciate a little insight into some of the games on your list that haven't gotten a review yet. I've looked at a couple marked "avoid" and some of them weren't that bad. Like Chris' adventure for example, the only thing off with that game was it's obsession with batshit hard moving platforms.

I had mixed feelings about Chris's Adventure, but in the end decided that the game was just shoddy in most respects. Even playing it when it was released it was a bit crap. I think I may have been a little harsh with my rating, but it's far too easy now to give games a pass for being crappy when they are retrogames, because you don't expect Xbox quality graphics and modern design from them.

But everyone has a different view and I'm happy to add other people's opinions - it makes it more balanced. If you want to write a little something, just email it to me, or PM it here and I'll put it up.

That would be great...several varied in-game screens and a title shot are what I usually go for if that's possible (clean emu shots only please)

I can get you game screens for all the characters if need be.

I just can't get very far in the game though. Mostly cause around rounds 4-6 you get a game puzzle that takes alot of trial and error to come through.

Thats a pretty big update! I am liking in spine card scans too. Hopefully the front and back high res scans for the USA set will be added eventually. I have quite a few, but dont really know what settings to scan them at for the best quality.
