Xbox running coinops

Anybody have any experience with running coinops on an original xbox? It's def something I'd like to do, but i suck at all this different emulation stuff. From what I gather, I'd need a modded xbox with a rather large drive.

Is there a specific mod I need to do? I guess I'd be in the market for an xbox as well as the mod to get this done. Any help guys?

I like the coinops thing cuz it has most everything in one package. Mame and console stuff. I'll look into the softmod, but I need to track down an og xbox

A guy at the local flea market has made a living out of these things.  He has a booth with a few of them running and you can basically get every game made pre-2000 on it.  $100 a pop, I almost bought one a few times.

Last time I was there I told him if he could get DAPHNE running on it, he had a deal.

Of what? Worse-case scenario, you'll brick the Xbox. Which costs you what, $10, $20?
Just read a guide and softmod one. That's the whole point of a softmod, anyone can do it easily without having to actually open up the console and install chips or anything.

I was joking. I'm jus bad at modding and this setup seems all encompassing. I'm on the hunt for an xbox now.

Yeah, just buy one pre-hacked. The OG Xbox is an almost totally fucking useless machine so most of them that are still operational have been hacked upside down and backwards at this point and they are always for sale. Check Craig's List.
