XRGB Mini Compatibility

So I'm deciding on which console to choose (duo, tg16, supergrafx). I run my old school systems through an XRGB Mini. Whichever one I choose will have to be RGB modded.

Are certain consoles/models better as far as XRGB compatibility/RGB signal? Anyone got pics of their setups running through an XRGB?

Stuff I've read seems to indicate that the newer the XRGB the more picky it is about the signal. Therefore, if you don't need HDMI I would reccomend the 2 or the 2+.
