TG-16 games that should be on the Virtual Console!

I don't really know every single TG-16 title released in the US as you may have read from my introduction thread, but what should be added to the Wii Virtual Store? I wanna see "Splatterhouse" and "Legend Of Hero Tonma" all the way!

Splatterhouse would be nice i supose so.

Still that's like pulling teeth and it seems namco has been stubborn on that.

They have had many chances to release it on the museum serise, but have fail to do so

Still i'd pay to see it but i see it as wishful thinking.

Hopefully Magical Chase will get released, so people don't have to pay so much just to play an official version on a console and it might also bring down the collector's price.

I thought they were supposed to be able to emulate CDs? If so, it's about time they started that, Gate of Thunder and Ys I.II as the first releases.

Hey! I love the original Street Fighter! I can't understand why so many people think it sucks. It came out in 1987, for crying out loud!

It doesn't hold a candle to, well, ANY fighting game. The graphics are junk, the control is sloppy, what's not to hate?

Actually, Karate Champ is a much better game

Well I picked up Fighting Street not long after release, and I was pretty disappointed with the graphics even then

Not sure what year the graphics looked cool, but must have been before I was born

I agree, IMO Karate champ was a much better fighting game (especially the vs. sequel) than SF/FS. SF certainly looks better, but the controls are just absolute junk.

I just can't get around the clunky controls. Some of the backgrounds look good, the music ain't too bad, the (unintelligible) voice samples mimic the arcade, and I've seen worse sprite animation. But the controls, or lack thereof, ruin the game. Perhaps I just suck, but the special moves are damn near impossible (unless a cheat is used). NES's Double Dragon is the same vintage, yet it controls better with a comparable amount of moves. Of course, it doesn't look or sound anywhere near as good as Fighting Street, but I'll take controllability over eye and ear candy.

Actually, I've gotten used to the controls in Fighting Street/Street Fighter and a well placed move can give you an easy victory. The game is actually quite fun once you do get used to the controls which is why I'm one of the bare few who like Fighting Street/Street Fighter.

But yeah, Telenet really fucked the franchise over with the new Valis porn game. I'll be amazed if they could do anything afterwards to restore its reputation. I'm (still) hoping for an anime series myself.

I've beat on, CCC2 still the timing for moves is way off... not to mention it's controlls are arkward.

Still i play it for laughs since it has mess up engrish.
