Ok,

I bought the special edition of Street Fighter IV when it came out for PS3. Then later I decided I wanted to play Street Fighter IV on Xbox 360, so when the Super Street Fighter IV game came out I bought it for that. Then Arcade Edition came out, I bough the DLC version when it was on sale on Xbox Live.I had to get a portable version of this game, so when I got my 3DS I bought SSIV for that too.

Now Ultra Edition is about to come out, if you own SSIV on PS3 or Xbox the upgrade is discounted instead of Standalone. I will probably be a sucker and pick that up.

So in all, I have bought 4 versions of Super Street Fighter IV, and I will most likely buy a 5th version.

Am I the reason that Capcom is still in business?

HAHA.  I think I own all 18.
Just like Star Wars, I keep buying it on every media it's released on.

Opethian

yes you are the series died with third strike

I played SF IV arcade edition at galloping ghosts and I was not impressed enough to play it on a home console.

CrackTiger

I bought the original PC version discounted in order to get the pad to play 360 games with. It didn't run fast enough on my laptop to play.
Justin the Not-So-Cheery Black/Hack/CrackTiger helped Joshua Jackass, Andrew/Arkhan Dildovich and the DildoPhiles destroy 2 PC Engine groups: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook, then the other by Aaron Nanto!!! Him and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together! Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner, never himself nor his deranged/destructive/doxxing toxic turbo troll gang which he covers up for under the "community" euphemism!

3rd strike 3rd impact....sigh.

I actually quite liked #4 and bought the first release. I've been holding out and now that I know Ultra is coming out, I'll probably get that one.

However there are a ton of other PS3 fighters I wan to get first. Aquaplaza being one of them, Persona 4, Kof XIII,  etc, etc, etc...

munchiaz

i have up to arcade edition, and will be getting ultra when it drops. I have been playing the game since it first came out. third strike is my favorite SF title. Its what got me into competitive play, but i also love street fighter 4.

Nazi NecroPhile

PukeSter

The 3DS version with the creepy, static backgrounds.

Two.

PCE and SF3 Triple Threat for the Dreamcast. So far, that's been more than enough to keep me :)

Psycho Punch

I only own Super Street Fighter IV.

I understand that new characters and minor improvements are appealing to the core and competitive fans, but no way that I'm buying this CAPCOM crap of releasing 9999999 versions of the same game. And I know that upgrades are cheaper but I have no interest in that.

I own SF 4 for the PS3 and that's it. No special editions (I generally don't like those). The game is not good enough to buy multiple times even if they let me play as the bosses, added a few characters, added a speed adjustment, maybe adjusted the color of the backgrounds and maybe maybe changed the announcer to a much more flamboyant guy (all of these things they did for Super SF2).

GohanX

I have millions!

I got the original on release day for the 360. I then picked up Super when it came out. I let my Live account expire and picked up Super on ps3. Then I got Super on 3ds and played the hell out of it. I picked up 360 Arcade edition on clearance a while later, and later still got the ps3 version free with psn +.

I'm not really that much of a fan, all but vanilla sf4 and the 3ds games were picked up super cheap or free.

Duo_R

I like it,  cool SF collection! Hmmm now the next question is how many Street Fighter games do I own....lol

Yeah, it was pretty ambitious of them. Very choppy framerate, but graphics are impressive for the little black and white machine.

1.  Limited Edition SFIV - PS3
2.  Super - PS3
3.  Arcade - PS3
4.  Anniversary Edition - PS3
5.  3DS

I also bought super cheap the X360 exclusive Limited Edition figures, but I don't actually have the game on X360.  My friends and I played this game like fiends when it came out.

I HOPE the next version comes out for XBone.  The Ryu teaser PlayStation trailer has me thinking it could be PS4 exclusive, but the dpad is so much better on XBone.  Assuming it comes out for either of the new systems that is.

rag-time4

I have vanilla SF IV on 360, and i have super SF IV: AE on ps3 and 360. Very rarely play them though. The only Street Fighter game I really enjoy is Hyper Fighting. Super moves, introduced in Super Turbo, are incredibly lame in my opinion.

For a few months I would go with some friends of mine to Dave and Busters in Milpitas, where they have a street fighter anniversary ultracade in a showcase cabinet. I started learning alpha just so I could clear noobs off the machine and change the game to hyper fighting :)

Same as you, just SF IV for PS3. I do have several versions of SF II (1 on Genesis, though I think I'm selling that) and 3 for SNES.

It's really no comparison, though. SF II > SF IV.

Agreed. SF II still the best, Hyper Fighting in particular.
