Not sure if this has been posted yet but I just read and saw this and it looks amazing!!!  I need a Super Grafx now!

It is not uncommon back in the day to discover new games that did not have names at the time of discovery. EGM, Gamefan and Gamepro all ran short articles that usually contained one single, blurry, picture and a sentence describing what was seen by the journalist. Today though, with the power of the Internet and the "clickbaiting" that goes on, it is not so easy to find a new game early in development. "Jets" for the Turbo Grafx-16/Super Grafx is just such a title. Originally unearthed by All Gamers, a French gaming website, "Jets" is still quite unknown. Suffice to say, it is a side scrolling shooter (exactly what these NEC systems were known for).

Currently only a few pics and a video are avaliable for "Jets". Neither of which show much other than the basic gameplay of one level that has A LOT of repeating backgrounds (worse than your average Flintstones episode).

Fabrice Chanssez is the name of the team behind this new shooter. At the Retro-Gaming Connexion in France, "Jets" was shown to fans for the first time.

Obviously very early but at least it is something.

Does this have anything to do with the shooter on the Revival Chase game?  Ship looks the same and both were French...  but that one had a brown background I think.  Could just be a different stage?

That meme is almost as old as the internet itself.  Pity you feel it's still relevant.  The post above shows someone who didn't know this existed, so while you may have known, others did not.  That said I feel your post is short sighted and hurtful, please use better judgement next time.

Why was the super grafx called the super grafx anyway. I mean the whole grafx thing was from the U.S console, so why call it the super grafx? why not something like the PC dual engine

The Grafx name wasn't a US thing, there was the Core Grafx and Core Grafx II.

yes.  i typed that quick.  reading it back i see how it appears out of context.  i think i meant his need was displaced with the game in its current state.
