I thought the joke was using commentary from a boxing match or something at first!

Yeah, that was an epic fail he'll have to live with!

Me too! I thought the commentators were the joke. Ha! I'm an idiot.

In my defense, I am totally not into the competitive XTRME Street Fighter matches.

In an arcade, sure, that's fine.

BUT I'D MUCH RATHER SEE BOMBERMAN '93 PCE COMPETITION XTREME at an event.

The commentary, should there be any, would be hilarious.

"Green Bomber has the Speed Up and is zooming across this board faster than a leech entering a raffle at pcefx..."

:)

I have not watched TV for more than 4 years now.
My "free time" is spent playing games, watching youtube, watching a very select few series or movies, or reading.

Youtube has some awesome channels for sure, and I actively watch upwards of 30. I would HIGHLY recommend Crash Course for those who love to learn, and Rooster Teeth and Game Grumps are a must for game/comedy fans.

One of the best, most creative AVGN episodes, ever. :)

Also, I can't believe there wasn't a single FINDING NIMOY reference. I guess that would have been too obvious.

I have never played Seaman, but it certainly intrigues me—

The best kind of drugs, because it was actually shipped.

Too often, games that are too "risky" (no return on investment guaranteed) won't even be considered.

I have lots of respect for the crazy management that green lit the game...but of course, I have the most respect for the team of developers who created it.

Well that's the SEGA i know and love! I'd use the drugs if I had an art test ( I suck at it, I have one of the lowest grades in art, im just untalented in art!) so I can get creative! Oh how i miss the SEGA of old!

Wow, that was a real game ? That the AI could respond to James that way was pretty good - a lot of time would've been spent to make that possible! Game looks like ass though, but that aspect was still impressive.

Oh, I see, here's a jumped link to what esteban was referring to, the best part (James' life is now complete, it says ffff---ckkkk!):

Yeah, that was pretty good. I own both ActRaisers actually though I will sell everything when I get a chance, just keeping my SquareSoft originals and settling for my SD2SNES flashcart. That's interesting about the story changes that were made to the 2nd one according to his review. The soundtrack could've been better, but I enjoyed it as just a basic action game despite the style change from the first one.

Yeah, Pat the NES Punk got 5 US Turbo CD games, "Dungeon Explorer II," "Prince of Persia," "Lords of Thunder," "Beyond ShadowGate," "Ys III: Wanderers from Ys," and "Dragon Slayer" at what he offered for them, $450.

Who is the PCEFXer in the video, Sadler ?? I tried to skim but couldn't find where, don't feel like watching all this straight through.

Nazi NecroPhile

$450 doesn't sound all that bad.  That's in the neighborhood of what I paid for mine: ~$100 each for Dungeon Explorer 2 and Beyond Shadowgate five or so years ago and ~$40 each for Prince of Persia, Lords of Thunder, Ys III, and Dragon Slayer back in the 90s.

Speaking of Ys III, somebody won it a few months ago from David Michel's monthly contests for registered Magic Engine users.

Here are the results of February-March contest!

The winner of Ys III - Wanderers from Ys CD-ROM is Daniel Scott from USA, and the winner of the free registered version is Patrick Lynch from Ireland, congratulations!

The new game to win is Human Sports Festival, it's a sport compilation (golf, soccer, tennis).
I mostly forget to register with my key because I hardly ever check his website, but I should try more often. :) (You have to register every month if you bought a key.)
