@GTV reviews the Cosmic Fantasy 1-2 Switch collection by Edia, provides examples of the poor English editing/localization work. It's much worse for CF1. Rated "D" for disappointment, finding that TurboGrafx CF2 is better & while CF1's the real draw, Edia screwed it up...

The only sealed TTi CD game I could find that I have is Buster Bros, which is in thin shrinkwrap with a hang tab.

I vividly remember the extra thick wrap that Buster Bros and Splash Lake had when I held them at a Radio Shack bitd. Part of what made it memorable was the fact that they had the CD2 logo and came without a box like Super CD games.

So maybe TTi CD releases were all shrinkwrapped except the pack-ins?
Justin the Not-So-Cheery Black/Hack/CrackTiger helped Joshua Jackass, Andrew/Arkhan Dildovich and the DildoPhiles destroy 2 PC Engine groups: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook, then the other by Aaron Nanto!!! Him and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together! Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner, never himself nor his deranged/destructive/doxxing toxic turbo troll gang which he covers up for under the "community" euphemism!

I'm thinking as well that some games being sold only through TZD may not be true. I remember buying Shape Shifter and Riot Zone brand new at a mom and pop game store localish to where I lived back in the day. Makes me wonder if maybe just maybe that dynastic hero could have been sold somewhere else as to why it has a hang tab on it.

A few games may have only been sold direct by TTi like the Super CD card or not mass distributed through major retailers, but I find it hard to believe that TZD was the exclusive source of anything.

I like the dinged corner. It distracts from other possible issues.

Same seller too lol, what a guy.

Didn't he accept your return immediately after u told him it was fake Sonik?

sonikthehedgehog

Ha, I saw it was back up. He claimed it was real but accepted my return. I was trying to find the actual messages from him but for some reason I can't. I like how it's just throw in on a random lot now.

ClodBusted

Just reported the auction for the bootleg Dynastic Hero included in the lot.

Who could possibly look at the condition of that manual and believe that it's never been opened?

If you've never purchased a CD before you might not be able to tell and many of the noobs fueling this bullshit market are in that catagory. OGs who have opened litterally thousands of CDs over 30+ years know what real is, what process print looks like, what CD-Rs look like. Any weird gloss or print artifact throws us off by reflex. When it comes to something like PCE games which were all pressed in a short span of time by a small number of shops you can easily SMELL if it's real or not. It doesn't even take effort.

Noobs don't know though. All they know are buzz words and dollar figures.

When it comes to vinyl records the manufacturing technique varies almost with every release or even a reprint of the same thing. I guess I can imagine someone thinking maybe CDs are made like that, sloppy and variable (but they aren't).
