Red LED on Duo R

OK so my friend went to the Midwest Gaming Classic and bought a Duo R. It was either from Mad Gear or Turbostar, not sure.

Anyway, it has a red LED for a drive light. Weren't they all green? Mine was before I replaced it with blue, the color it was clearly meant to be all along.

Some people were doing diff color and multi color led mods,bu tyea I was thinking they are green too. Its been awhile since I have seen one in person though. Maybe I should ask Quoth,he has one.

For what little it's worth, the two I've seen had red LEDs; I assume they were unmodified originals.

My Duo RX came from japan in the box with a red led. Maybe the Duo R's had a different color.

Hm...the green one I pulled from my Duo R was extremely factory fresh looking. I'm pretty sure it had never been replaced. So I guess they came in more than one color? Its odd that nobody has mentioned this before.

Negative. My Duo R came from Japan in the box with a red led. The box itself has a picture of the Duo R with a red led.

Same here. My Duo R has a red LED as well.

Ditto most of the time i've seen greens one that have been modded.

Zeta i got that Duo-R from Turbostar if am correct when i was the MGC.
