I'm looking for items to complete some tg-cd equipment. Looking for the following:
Dock stations - 1 maybe 2 if I cant fix my broken unit.
Power supplies - 2.
Travel case - 2 maybe 3 if I can't repair the hinges on one I have.
Travel case clips (front locks) - 6 maybe 4 if I get a 3rd travel case.

Any help appreciated!
thanks

I rarely see the "actual" TG-16 CD power supply, but I recall this store in Austin had -one- the last time I was there.  If they still have it when I drop by this coming Friday I'll pick it up and drop you a line.

Yeah, that's the only place in Austin I can think of that carries TG-16 stuff.  Even then, their selection is pretty abysmal.  Next to no games at either location.  A smattering of controllers and taps....  I only recall the power adapter since it's kinda unusual to see a power adapter just... floating around by itself.  The prices aren't too great either, at 19.99 a pad for used controllers.

As bad as it is, it's better than San Antonio I guess.  That's slightly ironic too, since I couldn't actually buy Turbo stuff where I grew up, and had to make all of my purchases on the random trips to San Antonio to go to Babbages at the mall.

It was 11v iirc, which would make it a CD adapter, but I haven't been there recently either.  I'm just assuming it's still there since there can't be that many people that have a TG-CD attachment, but no power adapter.  Besides, it was determined in the mod section I think:

...that you could probably replace it cheaper at Radioshack anyway.

Anyhow, not a really a big deal to swing by there when I'm in town.

I called Game Over and Don there didn't think they had an ac adapter for the cd.  He said it wasn't listed in the computer so unles is was mislabled, they don't have one anymore.  But those guys don't really know alot about TG stuff so it wouldn't suprise me if they had it labled wronge if they did have one.  I would go check in person but it is a 3 hour round trip.  I only go there when I know they have what I want.

Thanks anyway! It sounds like I can use a couple different aftermarket adapters and be ok, just would rather have the original...

Yeah, there is a radioshack one that costs like $25 or so, but original would be nicer.

That place did have it, it was mismarked, which is probably why they didn't know (it was also behind 4 turbo taps).

It's the second model adapter:
Model:   HES-ACA-03
      Input:    120V AC 60HZ 28W
      Output: 11V DC 1.53A (1530 mA)

As opposed to the HES-ACA-02.  The only difference being a slight increase in wattage.  I picked it up, unless you had some luck finding one elsewhere?

IIRC, there was a thread a while back mentioned that the specifications on the CD power supply were incorrect or misprinted.  You might want to be careful.

EDIT:  By the way akaviolence, why do you want three complete CD setups?

Which storel location did you go to?  I went to the main store in North Austin this afternoon and they didn't have it.
