These beasts are kinda neat (as an oddity) and this one is in particularly good condition, but no CD capability equals a waste of money in my book.  Too bad you can't add a CD-ROM drive and install one of the PC-FXGA cards, then you'd have the best of all possible worlds.

Hah. That'd certainly be a nice collectible for a PCE fan, though NecroPhile is right.  No CD drive factor really kills it on the practical-scale. 

But the starting bid price seems reasonable for a beast like this.  That's too bad -- At this point, I'd need another console like I'd need a hole in the head.

it's not really a 'pc'; it's a sharp X1 computer. not pc compatible.

Sure the fact that it has a PC Engine inside is great and all, but who wants to use a 20 year old computer with virtually no useful software? Not me. I can just buy a PC Engine without the Sharp X1 and save a shitload of space.
