Yeah, it sounds like the usual HuCard problem. Also, since nobody bought 3D glasses or card games, most SMS have never had their card slots used even once, so there might be a fair bit of corrosion on there.

Use (lightly) an eraser on the card. Failing that, put alcohol on the card it and re-insert the card a few hundred times? Works for PC Engines.

the sega card love is for Transbot... have most of those cards but for fun factor and play value Transbot is my pick. My first card I got was MY Hero when i was a kiddy... what a hard ass game... hooooly it took me forever to get throw the first board then starting the second one and realizing it was the same as the first
