This is really cool.  I remember when the big deal was that it was the only Genesis/Mega Drive is S-video out. Now that is not so important but it still has a cool name and design and I just can't pull the trigger on this but maybe someday.

This is the one game my Duo-R is having trouble playing and I tested out two different Acrcade Cards. It played once and then never again. I know my Duo-R is a rats nest from the seller I got it a few years ago on ebay. I hope to get the mod work cleaned up and then maybe I can play it again.

Just curious, did you have an early PS1 or a late one?  I had 2 that died before I was done playing FF7 at release that had the 3 RCA jacks in the back.  The third one I got was still a larger model but only had the AV Multi-out by that point.

The PlayStation I have is the big model witht he AVout port not the standard RCA connections. It still works but I haven't played it a ton. I did played it a couple of weeks ago. I have been wanting to get the small PSOne and a LCD monitor add-on for it.

Yes, I almost feel that Physical Releases should follow digital releases later so the Physical release can get the patches on the disc. I like Game of the Year Releases and Greatest Hits when they apply the current version that is patch on the disc.

Sad many physical releases these days the version on the Disc is broken or filled with bugs that got removed later. Some small later physical releases get a patched version on disc until another patch.

Everyone who ever used a computer in the 80s knew the term RUN, including Japanese since  BASIC only exists in English. NEC is a computer company...end of fucking story, sheesh.

Agreed. Also the system is called a PC Enigne. Run is a PC ommand. Not a huge leap. Start button was still a relatively new thing.

I agree that arcade games that got bad console ports could be interesting. I think it is amazing that Time Killers even got a port. I played that game on an arcade machine at an (IAAPA) Ammusement Convention. That was the only time I saw that game.

Resident Evil REmake was a great rerelease of a rerelease. Then Capcom has rereleased RE0, RE4,RE5,RE6, RECVX.

REmake is my favorite and I was thrilled when it got released. There is a RE2 remake in the works. That has been silent since its announcement.

I like the idea of giving digital only releases a physical release for those that want it. This should be more about the developers and how they could be benefitting more. They should really consider releasing it themselves if Limited Run Games reaches a maximum of preorders that could just trigger it. I like it when the developers go on and release it later.

I think there is room for a company to get this right and not be forcing the limited inventory on the business.

It seemed impossible for me to get a copy of Night Trap last Friday. It was my first Sega CD game I bought after playing the packin games. They should have changed their name to Ultra Limited Run Games. It seems scalpers had no problem. Sold out in less than 2 mins both times.

I'm not going to pretend to say I fully understand the details. I do believe what Rene is saying and that the info is factually sound. I have a few flash carts. I'm game for a group buy of V2 TEDs. I have a version 1 and it has ben great but I don't want to harm my two duos and express. I also need to replace my Mega Everdrive. The 5X is supposed be compliant.

I understand some people saying that in real world use they have been ok. That is good to hear but why take the risk. It is like if I have a cigarette I don't just die from it but if I smoke over the years it will catch up with me.

I'm also dealing with my Genesis SCART cables possibly having boosted sync damaging my switch and Framemiester.

I would not be surprised if these ROM are not found out to be downloaded from the internet like the others. Star Fox 2 I can't wait to find it is just a ROM dump from the internet.  Nintendo will mess this up to and scalpers need to choke on it.

Well I couldn't watch Enterprise. I'm not too excited about the next Star Trek series either. I have now moved onto Wonder Woman. With all the talk about the movie I felt it was a good time to watch the tv show. I only saw a few growing up in reruns. On season 3. Thinking Batman with Adam West next. I loved that show growing up and have a few tapes of back to back episodes.

I have to check out Stargate. Seen the movie.

OK, yep ... I decided to watch Lost Tales again, and still loved it!

I really enjoyed Babylon 5. Each season was a new turn in the story and they really provide a nice close and rewards the viewer with all the callbacks.

I have seen Firefly a few times and Serenity. I really enjoyed that one.

I guess I will watch more crusades to see if they wrap up the issue created in the last movie. then watch that last movie.

I have an Arcade Duo card as well. It works on all Arcade games I have but not PCEWorks Sapphire. It worked sort of one time and then glitches out on level 3 and now I can't get past the loading screen. I thought it might be the disc and got another one. same deal. I'm running on a Duo-R. Maybe it is the card or the Duo-R.

I'm not sure if cleaning the pins is it but I will try it. Anyone else have similar issue in the past?

Are the other games you are playing (that work right) retail discs or burns/pressed booties? Could be relevant.

Also maybe tried a cdr of Sapphire and see how that goes?

My other arcade card games are retail. They all play. I also have other PCE Works games thanks to Bernie. They also all work. I don't use CD-Rs on my Duo-R.
