Is there a TG16 master list?

I think I've got a complete list for TG16 but I'm not 100% sure. Does anyone know of a US list that is complete for HuCards and CDs?

In addition to what is on PCEDAI, I would add that there are also a couple other things available:

Insanity  SCD  ABPCE00  Aetherbutt  (This is a homebrew game, but so are a couple others in the list)

There are also tons of Japanese audio CDs not listed, but there are only 3 US ones that I am aware of
CD+G Sampler  Audio WNM PRO 15027  (This was packed in with some of the Turbo Grafx CD systems)
Hudson's CD Game Music Collection Audio HCD2010T  (This was a promo item that Turbo Technologies Inc. and Turbo Zone Direct distributed, 2nd edition without any paperwork is still available)
Camp California Where The Music Never Ends Audio LK 53944 (This was a retail CD companion to the Camp California SCD game, still commonly available)
Insanity Soundtrack  Audio   No #  (This is an audio CD companion to Insanity, for availability check with Arkhan www.aetherbyte.com)

I personally consider these as important as several of the items currently listed on PCEDAI and hope they eventually get added to the database.

Insanity will be for sure added in the next update.

Audio CDs howewer will never be added, since those are no games and they do not contain any game rcode for the PC Engine or TG-16.

We will also add the LD-ROMs.

If you start adding stuff like that the list is never going to end. Where do you draw the line? If every game on PCEDAI had its soundtrack listed the site would be twice as big and full of stuff most people don't care about. Do we want the Sherlock Holmes matchbook calculator on there as well? The Hudson Music Sampler isn't any more an official TG-16/PCE release than the Emerald Dragon soundtrack.

And when it comes to something like the Ys III Super Arrange CD...this wasn't a game that was only on PCE, it was also on several other systems as well.

I have nothing against homebrew, but a CD-R of a soundtrack to a homebrew game isn't as as significant as anything that was officially released. Official releases are games that went through the proper channels, license fees were payed, and logos like PC Engine, HE System, Turbo Duo, etc are on the box art. The Local Girls of Hawaii is not an official release!

so tell me then, which are those CD+G for the PCE/TG-16 and what do they exactly?

They just show pictures, but they do have code executable by a PC Engine (and a few other machines). Also, there was at least one CD+G that was packaged with the TG-16 CD making it directly associated with the Turbo.

Wasn't there a promo/bonus CD+G for some PCE game in Japan...Graduation perhaps? Maybe I'm misremembering this.

BTW, I'm not suggesting you include CD+Gs, just that you refine your guideline.

That was my point, they do play video through the TG16... at least the CD+G sample disc and the official CD+G audio disc do... I think there were about 40 or so Audio CDs that were released that used this technology, but I haven't fully researched it. 

Plus the CD+G was at some point an actual pack in.  I can get a list of some of the albums from this if you want it.

I do consider the CD+G sample disc more significant than the girly games, which probably (unconfirmed) use the same CD+G technology, but are no more games than the other audio discs I mentioned.

I believe that the intention was to eventually turn the TGCD into a karaoke device.

As for the game soundtracks.  Yes I agree that there are tons of Japanese soundtracks, but the US stuff is very limited.  I understand keeping them separate, but it would be nice to eventually have a database of those as well.

I will work on compiling a database of CD+Gs to post on PCEngineFX if anyone is interested.

In addition to PCE Daisakusen!, the PCEngine Catalog Project also has a complete list of titles (excepting Insanity) with a few screenshots, cheat codes, and assorted other goodies.

The CD+G format is part of the red book industry standard, so saying it has 'executable code' is a bit of a stretch.  Many audio CDs have other sub-code data that Duos can read, so shall we include every CD?

The booby discs are not CD+G related in any way.  They were specifically programmed for the Turbo and boot like a game; if they were in the standard CD+G format, they'd play through the CD player interface.

OK, but even though the CD+G isn't exclusive, it was a pack-in for the TG-CD at some point.  That is why I personally consider it important.  (By the way, it appears that the same disc packed into the TG-CD was also used as a pack in the Philips CD-I,  Sega CD had a different compilation)  Here is a good database of available CD+G discs:

It's probably complete for non-karaoke discs, of which there are many.

There are at least a few other non-karaoke discs that I've found just doing a quick internet search, but nothing of any significance.

I would like to know though if anyone else has the CD+G Sample Disc that was packed into the TGCD from back in the day.

The TurboEdge article mentions it, and the disc exists, but I don't remember ever seeing it "specially marked" on the boxes.
