Wow you found some at retail price?

Amazing.

Nintendo needs to curb this now before it gets out of hand. As we have seen collectards can taint nearly anything of value.

Luckily I have no interest in these to start so I am spared reseller on this one.

Honestly if I did buy any I was going to wait for some sort of clearance and pick up a few as mini statues to place around my TV

From what I can see, all the amiibos can be bought locally in electronics stores and videogame shops at retail price in Germany. Even the Villager and others that are called rare in the US.

I also heard that the figures can be used from any country. You don't have to buy a US one. Apart from the packaging being different.

I remember watching that video when someone (maybe you) posted it on the chat. Looks really cool! From what i remember from the video, the pce supported that thing, but only on a few games? Either way, it would definitely be worth it for those few games. It looked like a lot of fun to use.

Yeah I'm excited to try Blood Gear. And Gulliver Boy probably won't be played for a little while. I've been itching to play some Cosmic Fantasy 1. SamIAm's little write-up on Gulliver Boy made me really want it, though. I'd recommend that. Can't remember if the brothers duomazov reviewed it or not.

Its not a real NES cart. its only a few inches tall. It is this mystery toy where you don't know what cart you will get until you open it. turns out that gold one is rare and goes for $10, MSRP for the toy is $10

GTFUOH!

It really has a cart?

NES carts, some, are so cheap, for cannibalizing, it seems, so... Would nto surprise me.

Mind me, Muchniaz, I'm just being an, in my own mind, silly "old fart". All I think of, when I see stuff like that on a sofa, is when I got all, "THE REAL GHOSTBUSTERS" action figures, propped on a sofa, x-mas morning. No idea, where they are, at a relative's house, but I still have, "Fearsome Flush". Fearsome Flush is a bad mofo....

The score of the year for me. Brand new with everything included (even the screw on joystick).

15 years ago or so, I got one of these (which I still have) on sale at my local Officedepot. It was awesome for pretty much everything. The first game I tried with it was OMF 2097.

This was a great find.

And it isn't gamestop new  it is actually still sealed. I think I picked this up and put it back down a few times but ultimately knew I had to have it.

Medic_wheat

Also picked up a few PSP games. I think I might have the Lunar game for PSP but am not 100% sure. All three games are complete with booklet and finding comete PSPgames in a Game stop is a real pain even when the system still had games being released.

With their buy two get one free used games the Lunar came out free so it was worth the gamble that I might already have it.

Somewhere out west there is a cliff overlooking a deep canyon filled to the brim with a mix of tears and PSP Lunar games. It doesn't pay to be a fan of Lunar in the modern era.

I have one of these still new/sealed in retail box. I don't need it though, in case someone would be interested in getting it off of me in a sale or trade.

EDIT: Looks like mine is a tad later then yours. The box for mine varies somewhat.

Anyway, I got a lot of DB15 based pc game pads, and I have one that connects to the keyboard also, so this one just ended up staying sealed in its box unused.

I used to have that Gravis gamepad way back in the day before more modern USB controllers. It was one of the few options I could use. It's OK. Gets the job done. Not really the best for something like Street Fighter or anything but decent. Felt kind of light, flimsy and cheap.

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of it. The GRIP support doesn't work right with a few of the fighters I like to play that use Dos, which is mainly why I didn't bother to open and use this one. For stuff like Doom, Need For Speed SE, and a lot of other normal titles/non-fighters, it works rather well though if you know how to get GRIP support going. Honestly though construction wise it is made no worse then any PS1 gamepad or anything. I have had maybe 5 of them in my life, and not one has ever broken on me.

That's the one I got back in 99, it only has the Win95 driver. The 95 driver doesn't work on 98SE. I remember having to hunt down the 98 driver since the Gravis FTP sucked.

I never used GRIP in Windows. I only used the gamepad in DOS as far as Grip support goes. I do have the last software releases for it though. I keep all of that saved.

I'm not the biggest fan of the d-pad with the screw in stick. Reminds me of the early Sega Master System pads.

With that said, I admittedly have a few Gravis Game Pad pros around. Back in the day the game port one was my primary controller for playing DOS games.
