Fuck yeah, that dude was right on.  Rambo fucking rocked and was exactly what I was hoping it would be, and the ending was great too.

someone needs to post some more TG16 footage.  There's TONS of games that aren't up there yet .. and I'm gettin' sick of watching what's listed for the third time !

I second that motion! I would but all I have to record with is my digital camera. Just not the same as an actual capture. What do you use to capture games from the actual Turbo Duo, or any of the NEC consoles?

Kiddie City?  It was called Lionel Playworld out here and it is where I got my Sega Genesis at launch and also Phantasy Star 1.  Heck I even got Phantasy Star 2 there, still have the receipt.

Cool!  But you'd get better video if you just recorded it straight to a videotape instead of pointing a camcorder at the TV.

The video is a tongue-in-cheek parody of the video it responds to.  Click the link where it says something like "This is a video response to blah blah" to see what I based it off of.  Some cock lover decided to make a comment on my video anyway, citing "epic fail".  I'm pretty sure he's talking about himself, though, since he apparently he could not detect the sarcasm.

Hahaha. Why did that guy say "epic fail"?!  :-s What an idiot.

I just watched your video again and was taking closer look at your game collection. Very nice by the by.  8) What's the Ms. Pac Man like for the Genesis? Is it pretty much a perfect arcade port or are there differences?

Oh and I love the sound effects - especially the sound the Genny makes when powering up. If blast processing made a sound, that would be it.

Ms. Pac-Man is pretty close.  If you're using a 6-button controller or a Nomad, you'll have to hold MODE when you switch the system on otherwise it is all wonky.  The screen scrolls up and down to mimic the arcade's vertical screen.  I originally bought the game for my girlfriend at the time since it was mega cheap.  But I hung on to it since she didn't have a Genesis.

Cool. Sounds like the Namco collection (or at least one of them) that has Ms Pac Man on it. You can either choose "full screen" mode, which sucks because the screen is super small and pixelated, or you can choose the "scroll" mode. The scroll mode sounds the same as on the Genny. Looks like the arcade, but it's really up close. I think I remember some tabletop versions of MPM that had the same scroll.

Here's a video of someone playing the Namco Museum on the GBA (MPM is at 00:55):

For this board, I present two videos that I have recently found a great deal of interest in watching.

This is a two-part gameplay through beginning to end for the arcade version of Space Harrier run on Mame32FX. This was Nat's prize video for guessing who I was on YouTube.
(Part 1)
(Part 2)

One thing I will say about Space Harrier is that it has the greatest bonus level I've ever seen. Riding on Uriah to destroy multiple objects is just pure awesomeness all around, with great music to boot. It's a shame that there were only two.

Digimon had finally gotten the Bomberman '93 soundtrack video to work! With his Bomberman BGM music that was uploaded four days ago, he had managed to fulfill my request of being able to get/hear Bomberman music, which made him the definite second coolest person I've met online (the file that ParanoiaDragon provided had difficulties to obtain).
"Here comes a new challenger! Four new contestants stepped into the Audio Deathmatch ring today. You be the judge as these juggernauts battle it out in a fight to the finish!" - A segment of the August 3, 2006 update of SuperPCEngineGrafx .com

Yeah that Space Harrier video got me doing some Space Harrier searchin' and I came across this TV commercial for the PC Engine version of Space Harrier:

Joe Redifer

S00per sh00ting high-tech for high touch!

Anyway I didn't really like how the emulated arcade version was being played.  Obvious rapid fire controls and well, I just couldn't watch.  Nat, that is what both the 32X version and Saturn version of Space harrier look and sound like, though.

I prefer the SNES soundtrack, it sounds REALLY good, especially the Battle theme and the Battle menu.

Also, NOTHING beats the arcade cabinet of Space Harrier in a pizza place. NOTHING.

I figured as much.

I don't think I told you, but I finally tracked down a copy of the Gameworks collection for Dreamcast a couple of months ago (I even got the book that I can't read!). You can tell the sound effects are slightly off but it's a pretty damn good arcade port. Not noticable unless you side-by-side compare. I'm happy with it.

Dragon's Lair appreciation. Again.

Ha ha that's great, rap that's actually good (a lot of the old school stuff was).  I remember having the Beat Street soundtrack album. It was censored, but I loved it anyway.  My parent (don't remember which one, probably my dad) took me to the movie.  I remember thinking Breakin' was a bit better.
