It's been fun watching them, but best to space them out...his voice can be a bit dry.

I am insanely envious of that garage and its contents. :pcgs:

Honest question: Is the garage air-conditioned?

I have a nice-sized garage, but it gets way too hot in the summertime (no trees to provide shade).

It would be the only place I could put a few arcade cabinets... but I think I'd have to frame a smaller room within the garage proper, add insulation and air-conditioning...

The first three have been up for awhile, but here's the CM-64 version finally. :)

Yes, it was air-conditioned... but it was still kinda hot since last weekend's weather was almost tropical. Hope it wont be that hot next time.

Gaming setups...and it's pretty depressing  Well, this is old news but it's still sad.

I thought I could sap up some inspiration as I'm about the redo my PC-corner a little but this shit, man, it's out of control.
Almost every video so far has some dude/dudette showing of their "maxed out rig" and all their Xboxes and PS3s. Oh and let's not forget all the Haupaugge PVRs (so that they can record their CoD matches) and their games line-ups consists of nothing but CoD, Battlefield and fotball/soccer-games. Not a retro console in sight.

It's like the last couple of console generations didn't even happen to these peeps. Oh wait, it didn't :o
Supposedly, everything is also "beast".

May I ask what geographic region you/garage-arcade was located in?

That was actually freeware released with the X-Mas issue of Oh! X magazine.

Here's the X68000 version of Super Street Fighter II.  Way better port then the other 16-bit machines of it's day.

My Goddamn Mancave!!
Jossshhhhh...Legendary TurboTrollX-16: He revenge-bans PCE Developers/Ys IV Localizers from PCE Facebook groups and destroyed 2 PC Engine groups: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook, then the other by Aaron Nanto!!! Josh and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together! Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner (extortion/blackmail!), never himself nor his deranged, destructive, toxic turbo troll gang!

Tom Waits - "Hell Broke Luce":
His latest album, "Bad As Me" is excellent.  There are certainly elements that remind me of "Swordfishtrombones" and "Rain Dogs" which is my favorite era of his career.

PC-88 is the best, by far. It is subtle, without being overbearing. It is not simply a song, but a soundscape, which nurtures an eery mood.

SegaCD is HARSH. Ouch. I like the attempt to add complexity to the composition (but, sadly, it seems a bit disjointed...I feel that simply adjusting the levels of the different instruments would help the SegaCD sound more cohesive). I think this could have been #2 if it wasn't so overbearing.

The PS1 and Sega Saturn are too bland IMG

PCE is, sadly, pretty weak. Perhaps the worst? Or, just above the banality of PS and SS?

That leaves MSX2 as the solid #2!

UPDATE: Maybe I am being harsh on the PCE version. Upon further relistens, I kinda like it. But this still can't change its ranking.
IMGIMG IMG  |  IMG  |  IMG IMG

SamIAm

For that particular track, I agree completely.

Have you listened to the others, though? I thought the MSX2 version of Pleasure of Tension was great, though the SegaCD one is also good.

A moral outrage, I say! Shame on their Civil Aviation Administration, bunch of prudes! A Vietnamese airline was fined for providing "atypical" customer satisfaction with lovely, dancing vixens in bikinis in the middle of the flight! The first featured girl is just absolutely lovely, little shy, little kinky, and just right everywhere else! I hope the trend catches on! Funny enough, the fine comes to $960 USD when converted. Heh.
