ok so far I have printed the document both as borderless and non borderless and it is either too big or too small. Working to fix that.

I noticed that also. It looks like the incorrect color...LOL. Makes me MORE thankful that blueBmw did this for the community. 500 copies X $98 = $49,000... that's IF you can find that many people that want the game.
How much does an original copy sell for??? I saw one a while ago for $1000, but Im not sure if anyone actually paid that.

If its not the right size then someone needs to fix the pdf or the people printing need to fix their printer. File formats like pdf, eps, and psd have all the dimensional info needed in them. Printouts should be accurate to within tolerances too small to notice.

My copy made it across the Pacific all okay -- as soon as I verified that it worked okay, I promptly chucked out my CD-R copy.  Thanks again blue.  (Though I just found out that my caps in the Duo is now dry.    *sigh*  That's just another item on the to-do list, though once I do it, it should be rock solid for years and years to come).

As for those whose PDF insert isn't printing out in the right size, double check your printing settings, as the PDF seems to be in A4 format (international paper size standard), which is slightly different from North American letter size (8 1/2" x 11"), so your printer driver might be slightly resizing the printing output by default to make the A4 paper size fit into the letter size.  (BTW, I'm also loving the anti-ebay logo on this thing -- I'm totally gonna make a copy once I get hold of a nice laser printer!)

You guys are gonna be tempted. But if a bunch of them go for 99cents on ebay than the supply will be much higher than demand and that will keep the price at a few dollars at most.

Yeah, these copies aren't these loosies, as they're complete with manual and all that, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone like BigmoneyVegas threw up his copies on ebay.

However, I did have to modify the image a little because I found the spines did not match up correctly. Sorry I am busy getting some stuff ready for work tomorrow so might have to wait until the weekend (unless you guys don't mind my Photoshop file).

I noticed something interesting of note with the "good print" disc I got. While the colors are correct, the resolution is substantially lower than the disc in the "full version" I bought from Anime4Ever years ago. I'm not sure if it's just my disc or all the "good print" discs. I'd be interested to hear a comparison from someone else who got a "good print" disc from this batch and also has one of the "original" boots from several years back (Zeta?).

The off colored loosey is on the left, the correct colored loosey is in the middle, and one from a complete version is on the right; it looks like both of the looseys are of the same lower resolution and nowhere near as crisp as the complete version.  Not that it matters though, as ya can't play the label.

I just checked my old bootleg from 2006 (somewhere around there, can't remember) and its definitely crisper than these new loose ones. Not just the black (which is missing from the "bad" ones) but the blue as well. However its not so bad that you wouldn't see similar variances from the most professional CD factories. My guess is that they printed too many copies for the method of manufacture. Kind of like the screen print t-shirts you made in high school. After a dozen copies or so things get sloppy.

I received mine last week.
The 'good color' ones have very fuzzy printing and some of the smaller lettering blends right in to the black until you hold it at the right angle under light.
The 'bad color' ones oddly look sharper but like a faded version of the 'good color' ones.

Neither one would even come close to being passed off as a real disc.

(None of this matters of course. Just putting it out there for comparison discussion.)

I think they did. My "correct" coloured one is really darkened compared to what it should be and is a pain to read. Regardless I am happy.
